Description:
This was a Windboats ferro hull which was purchased by a Mr Kavanagh and fitted out to a good standard over a number of years and launched in 1989. There is some documentation about the build of my posession. She was build to a very good standard and used as a liveaboard for the last 12 years though she has been ashore and covered up since 2012. She has been fitted with insulation and panelling to a good standard which has improved the comfort and the solid fuel stove gives off a lot of heat. She is a spacious boat for her length and is ideally suited as a liveaboard. She sails well and is very steady at sea. Although the boat is clean and tidy she is in need of some repairs now. The mains wiring and the lighting circuit have been renewed and is in good order. There is shorepower and provision for a solar panel, all the cabling and regulator is in place, but a panel needs now to be fitted. There is an area of ply next to the forehatch which will need replacing, the engine will need recommissioning as it has run for a long time and the remainder of the wiring for the engine and gps will need to be fitted. The electric bildge pump does not operate. The saloon headlining is nearly complete and the remaining pannelling is included and in primer. Some trim in the slaoon needs finishing. I think for a competent person the work would perhaps be 8-10 weeks to complete. She is a unique boat and a pretty vessel indeed and well worth the effort. The boat has been wrapped up under strong canvas covers since 2012 so has not suffered deterioration.

Perkins 4107 diesel. Drive type: Hurth gearbox. Twin batteries charged from the engine. Shore power. Solar panels.

Bermudan cutter ketch rig, timber spars, stainless steel standing rigging, slab mainsail reefing, full compliment of sails, teak deck, 2 sheet winches, Simpson manual anchor windlass, stainless steel pushpit & pulpit, boarding ladder, forehatch, boathook, warps, fenders, 12v deckwash.

Apelco GPS, Navtex Clipper echosounder, clock, barometer, 2 lifebouys, 2 harnesses, gas detector, jackstays, fire blanket, fire extinguisher, 2 bilge pumps.
