Features:

Sly 42 has a generous sail plan, contained displacement and efficient extensions: features combined to offer good performance even in the light winds characteristic of the Mediterranean. Mast, spreaders, boom and bowsprit are all in carbon fibre, the rigging is in intermittent rod, the backstay in Kevlar is pvc-coated and the furling genoa winder is inbuilt below deck.

Interiors
The Sly 42 hull and deck are in recessed mould sandwich with glass and carbon fibre surfacing, and frame in pvc and epoxy resin. Infusion is performed via the vacuum bag process with follow-up care. Also available in a race-dedicated version, constructed entirely in carbon fibre for an exceptionally minimized displacement.

Exteriors
Sly 42 has a large open cockpit with advanced mainsheet track and two long bench seats converging towards the hatch. Available with either one large helm wheel or two smaller wheels. It has a narrow, streamlined coachroof with long side ports, an unmistakeable characteristic of all Sly. The complete interiors are elegant and light-filled, equipped with every comfort and maximum usability at sea and in dock, cruising or racing. The fittings, customizable on request, are in composite with teak and enamelled finish.
